AdaHack is a new initiative by the Edinburgh Hoppers Society. AdaHack is named in honour of the English mathematician, Ada Lovelace. Edinburgh Hoppers Society is the official society for gender minorities in the School of Informatics of Edinburgh University. The main motivation behind organising AdaHack is provide a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals, to improve and learn new technical skills, and reach their optimal creativity. AdaHack includes workshops and socials that will help you brush up on your technical skills and meet new individuals. 

Requirements

Submission Rules :

 

  • Your work should be your own. We have strict policies against plagiarism which can lead to expulsion of your team from future hackathons. 
  • Each team or individual (if working without a team) can only submit one project. 
  • Each project must be submitted along with a 3 minute video in .mp4 format explaining their project. 
  • Each project can be functioning or a prototype as long as it is well researched.
  • If working in teams, make sure to mention the names and details of all team members
